All hovercraft racing is done on a per turn, per person basis. Simply decide how many turns you wish to book per driver. As a guideline most groups tend to book between 3 and 5 turns per person.

Each turn consists of two laps of our circuit and there will be up to 3 drivers on the circuit at once. Each set of 3 drivers takes approximately 6 minutes from start to finish. The start is staggered slightly for safety reasons, but after that drivers are free to race and overtake another. All races are timed, giving you the option of adding semi finals and final to your event if required.

The duration for events of this type can be worked out easily using a guideline of 30 turns per hour (each set of 3 drivers = 3 turns). An additional 15 minutes needs to be added to the duration for your safety briefing at the start of the event.

The price per turn does not change irrespective of group size or number of turns booked.

For example, a group of 10 people doing 3 turns each is a total of 30 races. If the group wants two three-driver semi finals and a three-driver final, 9 additional turns need to be added to the booking making a total of 39 turns. Using the guideline of 30 turns per hour, the racing itself will take in the region of 1 hour 20 minutes. Once the safety briefing is included the total duration will be approximately 1 hour 35 minutes.

On days where we do not have other bookings, a minimum booking will apply. This is 80 turns for a weekday before 17:30 and 45 turns at all other times.
